I think I am looking for either the same thing or something very similar ---  it comes in maybe 2 sizes..  larger is maybe inches (?) long ....  with a split in the middle.  You put hair thru, roll it up and then fold the ends in  ---  instant, secure bun.  I have friends who use them but cant tell me what they are called or got them in areas other than where we live...  Thanx much....

 I found this several years ago..it rolls up your hair and twists it into a bun..It's about 16" long with scunci looking fabric,covering the flexible ends.I would like at least one more...It works real well for long hair.The center looks like little velcro rollers.
