Do we really know what makes waves happen?  Why does brushing the waves so much make them like that, because of a straightened out curl?  If it was that simple, shouldnt there be a scientific approach to make it easier?  Or is that what we'd call kitting.  My aunt was askin me about it and I said its cuz u straighten out the curls, so she was like i should get hairstylist or whateva put in a relaxer to loosen it up but I didnt buy it.  Is there a scientific no technological approach to waving?

its basically brushing. imagine that u have hair, and its naturally curly and kinky... then you brush it so much that it straightens out, but then it tries to curl back up plus its gettin kinda wavy becuz you cant straighten it out all the way. this is the "s" curl. as you keep brushing, the curl matures and this is what gives the appearance of waves.

some do use kits as short cuts simply becuz it straightens out the curls, but it also damages the hair, and its effects wear off within weeks. then the next time you use a kit, the effects wont be as good.

relaxers are too strong, itd straighten ur hair out... even ur waves leaving you w/ super straight hair.

brushing also LINES UP yo girls, it trains yo hair to lie down so if all the hair curls at the same spot, its a wave. whatchu think bout dat?
