I think your hair looks amazing!

Mud is for dry hair; it will help you to achieve a style and keep that style in place, but it won't change the texture of your hair.

Personally I would recommend that you stop towel-drying your hair, but blot it gently with a towel instead as this is much less harsh and will also help it to look sleeker (harsh towel-drying roughens the cuticle on the outside of the individual hairs, causes damage and leaves it looking messier).

Also, if you are straightening your hair frequently, be sure to apply a heat-protective product (e.g. L'Oréal or TreSemmé) beforehand and also do a deep-conditioning treatment (like a leave-in conditioner or intensive mask) every fortnight or so to help to replace the moisture lost through heat styling.

Give a man a fire and he's warm for a day, but set fire to him and he's warm for the rest of his life.

Either don't blow-dry at all, or blow-dry before styling, unless you'd like your hair to be fluffy.
More awesome than a manatee!

I think your hair looks great, keep doing what you're doing with it.
