i want to get highlights in my hair but my hair is wavy i have a chi and am trying to find a good balm to help with getting my hair straight or some product. anyway can i get highlights and get my hair straightened at a salon? i am not sure if i want to get my hair straightened due to breakage but i was wondering about a perm too if i get highlights that means i cant get anymore chemical process in my hair? i just dont want breakage.

I would not recomend relaxing and highlight. It does cause damage. If you still want to do it, get temporary highlights with semi-permanent hair color instead. They won't be as light or last as long, but your hair will not suffer that much. Redken EQ is the best. It actually conditions your hair while coloring it. Find a salon that uses it. You won't be sorry. Remember, a head of highlighted but damaged hair, does not look good.
