To put it short I am in need of a new do!

My hair is about mid back length now. My hair is fine and not wavy at all. In fact my main problem is it seems to have NO BODY. It just lays there.

I tried the whole short hair thing and i look terrible and it is vey hi-maintenence seeing that my hair grows like a weed. Last June I had cut it a little below my shoulders and it's already to the middle of my back!

I have tried every color you can imagine. I am not to iterested in bleaching it as I have done that last year and really didn't like it (plus at the rate my hair grows in 1 week i could see roots)

Looking for a cut that would give it more oomph to say the least. I was thinking perhaps a razored asian type of style? I am 3/4 japanese and assume that is where I get my dark limp hair from. However I am not very asian looking at all. Would an asian type of haircut even work on me? I would love to try something weird or peicey I AM COMPLETELY OPEN!

I will attach pictures. My hair is not current in them. But it will give an idea of how it is and my face shape.

my bleached hair last june (what was I thinking?)

This is what i chopped it down to a couple days after the first pic

Around the same time i think. It looks kinda poofy i think cause i am just washed and blown dry.

currently now it's the same hair cut in the 2nd pic but grown out. Basically almost all one length slightly layed but long layers. Long bangs (nose length)

I am also open to any possible color ideas.

How about accessorizing? Mid-back length is the perfect time to do/learn French braids, use claw clips, barrettes, and scarves. I wouldn't mess with the color - it looks wonderful.

Maybe grow it longer...?

If your hair is an Asian texture, it could probably work very well in something choppy.  If you want some inspiration, here is one of the sites I like (er, to look at, not do-- I'm so white I glow :-( )-- they have lots of stuff ^_^ : http://www.rasysa.com/pkg/style/
More awesome than a manatee!

I agree with Kuroneko!

Go for the choppy look, add some layers, maybe slanted or fringe bangs. And if I were you I'd add some violet red highlights, just a suggestion,..

God Bless,...
