When ever i air dry my hair or blow dry it out it ends up frizzy i hate to have to use a flat iron all the time but its either that or have a hair full of frizz any tips or help? I know my hair isnt damaged coz i asked my stylist to trim my hair like a week ago ....so could it be that my hair is just naturally frizzy? if so how do i tame the friz plz plz plz help me

I have the frizzies whenever I wash too.  I always air dry, have never blown dry.  I find that putting in a good creamy leave in conditioner helps and then apply my shea butter pomode.  But I have to apply more shea to the ends a few hours later as my ends really dry out for some reason.

I was debating about blow drying but here you've said that you get the same result blow drying so I am not sure now!  Hope the other replies shed more light.

For me I could never get a completely smooth blowdry so I don't blowdry anymore I wet wrap the hair. I think some of the other girls use serums like John Frieda's to help with frizz when they blowdry. When air drying I would try a mixture of s-curl, salerm 21, and cantu grow strong to get a hair frizz free HTH

I'm the same as blackhoney.  I can't get my hair straight by blowdrying so I wet wrap also.  I use Elucence leave in to wrap it and then I apply WGO and blow dry for only a few minutes to help tame frizz.  After that I flat iron using Beyond the Zone or just put it in a bun for a wavy look.

I MUST flat iron becuz im transitioning and my hair
is sort of half curly half straight but I just realized 2
weeks ago how I could battle the dryness that i was
experiencing from air drying(which i do the day b4 flat
ironing),, what i do now is towel dry spray Nioxin
bliss on my wet hair , maybe towel it some more
then,, pull it into a bun and ,, put my silk scarf on
while my hair is still pretty wet and when it dries
those relaxed parts are not alll awful and dry as they
were b4 and my hair is flatter and more manageable
and has more moisture retained
Hair type: 3b some c?, fine strands, last relaxer sept 05, never again!!! current :ap length on sides,,nearly bsl in back, damn those old frazzled ends! I am hair OBSESSED
