Hello everyone

Can any of the UK members suggest a good clarifying shampoo easily available in the UK?  The shampoo shelves are so packed that I don't know where to start looking.

Price isn't very important if the shampoo actually works.  Or are there any alternative treatments that clean thoroughly but don't cause dryness?  I don't like the idea of using something like soap powder!

All answers gratefully received.  I'm off to bed now but will check back in tomorrow.

Night night zzzzzzzzzzzzz

You could also clarify with apple cider vinegar. (Dilute about 50ml ACV in about 400 ml water, pour it through your hair after shampooing, and then condition as usual.) Some people could argue that ACV doesn't remove as much as a clarifying shampoo, but it works really well for hard water deposits and most product residues.

Thanks for both those replies.  I've got next week off work and might try both ideas.  When I'm working I don't have time to mix anything.  A  quick squirt froma shampoo bottle is all I have time for usually!  Thanks again.
