One length or layered, it's actually down to personal preference - so whatever you like best.

Hair tends to grow faster in the summer for most people, but some people are exceptions.

Hope this helps

Definitely faster in the summer.  Makes me wonder whether it would make a difference if I moved to Australia for their summer then back to the UK for mine. Or would my hair know it was being  tricked? Maybe it needs a rest in the winter.

Hello everyone..

and thanks for all your help...  ..

this is my hair after 3 years... I use to drive a school bus and brake off my hair and pull it out and i would have bald spots.. so i got a different job... still didnt help.. So one day i got it cut short and had a hard time keeping my hands out of it... I started to take care of it and oil it at night,, and put it up in the day to keep my hands out of it..  all i can say is i still pull out a few strans but not as much as i did in the past... and i don't go to a shop to get it cut.. I do that myself... don't trust them..LOL..  oh and this is the nautual color, never dyed

Hope to have my hair past my waist in a few more years..

well you all take care and thanks agian for the info...

Hi Brenda,

I used to be a compulsive hair puller... It was a coping mechanism and my hair wasn't long enough for good updos either. It really helped to reach a point of making a good clean bun or braid every day, but also to find other means to relieve stress or anger. Glad to hear you're making progress on that front.

Your hair sounds fabulous - virgin color - and your story is inspiring.

You can click here to upload a photo. After the photo is loaded, scroll to the bottom half of the page. There will be four complicated sets of letters.Copy the code string in the second line. (Starts with "[IMG]...)

Then you'll want to go to your HairTalk board Settings > Edit Profile > paste the string of letters into the "Signature" field.

Hope this helps

Hugs
Anais

Hello Anais

thank you.. and it seems like you have waves in your beautiful hair too.. and its so long. you make me jealous

what you can see is the white strains in it.. and in the I have some white too... people ask me when I'm going to dye my hair..   I tell them why do I need to do that.. I earned the white... LOL..

The hair bun cover on your hair is very pretty the color of your hair brings out the bun cover... or visa versa...

I was going to try to find a pattern and make one.. but use the thin thread..

you take care,,
