Hi I am interested in getting the fusion method to grow my hair out?
When I get them removed will my natural hair be damaged?
What fusion method is the safest?
Any one with experiences? suggestions?

I've never had them but I've had braids and sewn-ins. I don't know, I'm not a fan of anything but wigs right now because I received massive damage from both. Good luck.

I've never had a weave or braids, but I know that wigs are the BOMB! They don't damage your own hair at all, and if you want to grow out your hair with plaits, that's the best way to grow your hair out. (That's what I did, and that's why old women who wear wigs always have such long hair).
Just be sure to try it on in a store, DON'T buy from a catalog. Even the prettiest wig might not look right on you if it's the wrong texture or color. You have to try them on to see what looks "natural".
For black woman, textured (frizzy, curly, etc.) wigs look more natural. You want people to say "nice hair" not "nice wig".
Get synthetic hair. Not only are they cheaper, but they're the easiest to wash and "style". With real hair wigs, you have to curl it yourself, and wash it just like real hair. With a synthetic wig, you simply fill a sink with water and shampoo, stick the wig in, and swish around, and rinse. The style just pops back in as it's air drying. EASIEST. THING. EVER.
Hair type: who knows?
Length: 23 inches as of 3/10/06
MY HAIR IS OFFICIALLY BRA STRAP LENGTH!!
Goal: Waist Length, which is only 30 inches so
ADVISE ME ON HOW TO GET JUST 7 MORE INCHES OF GROWTH!
