I am thinking up a new regimen for my hair for over the summer. I've heard and noticed that my hair tends to grow A BUNCH over the summer. So, hears what I have:

  • Wash hair Motions for Kids Conditioning Shampoo
  • Suave Milk and Honey Conditioner
  • Apply the leave in Cantu Grow Strong Treatment
  • Oil my ends with Coconut Oil
  • Moisterize hair with Cantu Moisterizer
  • And sometimes (when I want curls) I will put on the Fantasia IC Sparklelites Gel.

Is this any good so far?? I am thinking that if I put the gel in my hair while I have the treatment it, it will start to build and cake up in my hair, so I'm a bit worried about that. I may take swimming lessons, so I plant to wet my hair and apply a leave in (motions cpr) in my hair then go swimming. I also plan to wash my hair 2 times a week so it can be super clean and healthy.

Any suggestions will be nice =)

Hair Type- 4a/b *transitioning front of my head*

Sounds good to me.  I've heard of other usings the Cantu Grow Strong Treatment?  And I was wondering, does it have mineral oil or petroleum in it?  It looks pretty thick from what I can tell, or is that just the shea butter?

You're right, you may get build up from the gel if you use a lot of it so I would suggest you clarify once a month.  You can use a clarifying shampoo but i just do apple cider vinegar rinses and it gets the job done.

I see you plan to use Motions CPR.  That's a good one.  You may want to find a good deep conditioner to add to your regimen also.  Everything else sounds good.

Most of the stuff contains lanolin.  But it is pretty good.  I haven't purchase any in a long while.
