If you want your hair to the max straight, would you leave it on longer than suggested to allow it to process fully?

I don't know since my hair relaxes pretty quickly.  It also depends on what kind of relaxer you use.

Personally, I would not.  I believe that the longer the relaxer is left on your hair, the more it will damage it.

Try using a blow-dryer and a professional ceramic iron to put the bone straight look to your tresses.

Good luck!

I don't have a relaxer, but i was considering it and I read that you should only relax your hair 80% because if you relax it bone straight it won't have elasicty or strength (and eventually break off)

Hair Type- 4a/b *transitioning front of my head*
Length-ranges from 5-7 inches =)
Products- Garnier Fructis S & S Poo, Lustrasilk Shea Butter Mango Conditioner and Cantu-Leave in =)

Oh I was just wondering.. I don't relax my hair fully, I texturize.  I only texturize because I'd have to leave the relaxer on my hair a lot longer than recommended, just to get it straight.

yea, the longer you leave it in wont make it straighter, just give it more damage...
