New hair Extensions

Hi, I am new to Hair Boutique and am wanting to communicate with someone that has hair extensions. I do not remember the brand name that I have. Just put in last week.  The hair was imported from Russia. It is beautiful and I have lite blonde and butterscotch colors intertwined. The hair alone was $1000.. Each small piece was attatched to my own with an iron that shrunk a little circle around the top of the piece. It feels like the tip of a shoelace. Looks so nice. it is about shoulder lenght, but I sure would like more info about the continued wearing and care from someone who has this type of extensions. Any help?
