Hello, my hair is about 3 1/2 inches long all over, except maybe about 2 in the back. I'm totally natural now and I like the way your hair looks in a twistout when I looked at your fotki.  Is my hair long enough for a twist out?  How do I get a twist out and what products to use to get good results?

what Fotki did you view?  Yes, your hair  is long enough for a twist out. THere are variations of twist outs.  FIrst you put on a moisturizer..they become more defined if you style on wet hair and let it air dry.  THey become more stretched if you style on dry hair.    Take 2 strands of hair and wrap them around each other, all the way to the ends.

When you twist your hair, kind of twist each individual strand counter to how you twist them together, so that it's kind of 'puffy'. That usually (for me) gets better results.

This is also how I trimmed my hair when it was natural. I would put a small black rubberband on the ends, and clip whatever was below the rubber band. That way, I trimmed ALL of my hair without missing any of it.

Hair type: who knows?
Length: 23 inches as of 3/10/06
MY HAIR IS OFFICIALLY BRA STRAP LENGTH!!
Goal: Waist Length, which is only 30 inches so
ADVISE ME ON HOW TO GET JUST 7 MORE INCHES OF GROWTH!

You might want to check out this link http://www.motowngirl.com/twists.php her directions are simple and easy to follow. And I find that it's easy to modify if you need it.
