Fusion that doesn’t turn WHITE?

Question how to get the shrinkies to stay in place they keep sliding back down and then I have the pretipped hair sticking up above the shrinkie ? I pretipped the hair using LG and it turned white when heating it up with the shrinkie wand.

While my most dedicated clients may last up to six months, the average wear time is three to four months.  I don't recommend any extensions for more than three momths (I think we're all alike on that note).  You're right, it takes a lot of work and time.  But I have found that it works best for me.  I also like the fact that it is not as messy because I have the brush in place of my hands.  My clients are all pleased...no complaints so far.  The only problem with my methods is that you have to use fewer strands which of course means more time. 

Unfortunately, I can't do this on myself.  I haven't found anyone who applies in this nature.  Frankly, I'm searching for an extensionist myself (kind of crazy).  I'm sick of doing my own hair (go figure).

My application process involves the use of a fine toothed, flat, sable brush (trimmed), LG, and LG Dissolver.  Remember that LG is extremely sicky.  The holding power, for me, lies behind the laying of the bond.  I gently dilute the product with it's dissolver (less than one drop for about a third of a half ounce bottle.  I lay a few strands at a time using a brush application (that's the key for me).  I pre-tip the hair the same way.  Then I fuse with heat.  LG works really great dry when you have the right consistency.  Hope that makes sense.

Charmayne, you have had success with using LG for individual strand application? Ive never found LG as an individual method to be very long lasting, besides it being so messy to use. Would you care to share your secret to success?

What kind of keratin are you using ? I've used Oran & Mega Hair and what has happen with using the glues when you roll it it sometimes leaves a white residue on the bond. 

I have had really good results with the fusion chips from Kristen. They do lighten up a bit in color, but they stay more of a clear amber color as they degrade, rather than white and milky colored. I have one client who wore the fusion chip install ( with his and her mink) for a whole three months and only lost 3 bonds. The  bonds were in  great shape when I did  her reinstall. I was amazed...

OK gals, I am really tired of fusion bonds that are WHITE. They are disgusting and this seems to be a fairly pervasive problem with pretipped hair. I find it to be true with the D-Lux hair tips (love the hair, hate the white tips), and I find it happens with some of the keratin adhesive sticks. . .

It doesn't seem to be happening with Amm's (now extinct, unfortunately) Elite pretips, and I know those are different because they have to be installed with a SUPER HOT purging iron.

Recommendations please?? I used Kristin's fusion chips a while ago but forget how they performed; Amm's fusion pellets didn't work; there was some discussion about the Poly chips from haircompounds;

I like to pretip my own hair so have no problem with sticks or chips or whatever, I've just GOT to get this glue problem solved!!
