my method

i brush in the shower

then i get dressed brush like 5 min

and then wave cap and

voila

products i use what i can get my hands on because they don't make the waves brushing does..... i prefer carrot cream,scurl activator,pink oil, any shampoo and conditioner now i use africa's best. 

when i started waving i was brushing like crazy like 30 min a day now 5 min and i'm good to go

^^ thats another good point...once u train ur waves u only need to brush 5-10 mins a day
