Yesterday,, i went to a new salon becuz i was unhappy with the way my old hairdresser was doing my extensions( i often put in 3 tracks , leaving the majority of my own hair loose), anyway the new stylist told me she could not do my hair cuz it was too dirty and oily LOL,, and she also thought i had caucasian hair and figured thats why i was afraid of her,, so that scared me even more becuz im biracial!! and so was she! so she took out my rows and forced me to wash it!! I freaked!!! I dont do the salon wash thing anymore,, so i approached her after shed sent me to the sink and told her my hair takes 3 hrs to straighten but she insisted and said why dont u trust me ?so i let the shampoo girl wash it and she was pretty rough and scared me!! but it was ok,,, then the stylist used a comb attachment on the blo dryer which scared me!!! I have never used one of those and my hair came out so horrendous so far ,, it didnt even look like my hair anymore,, and thennnn.. she pulls out a black flat iron ( i was terrified she might use hot tongs and id smell burned hair all week) and i get somewhat relieved,, she starts ironing in the back and after doing some,, she tells me,, " you wanna feel your hair??" so i reach back and I am so shocked,, my hair is like SILK!! ( after NO deep conditioning and unfortunately NO heat protector or leave in) ,, I didnt see what brand till she showed me and shes saying i cant get it in beauty supply stores only I can LOL( my fav Asian beauty supply stores sell it!! it was just a regular old black CHI!! ,, my hair hasnt felt this light bouncy and silky in a LONGGG time,, I cant believe it came out silky with no leave ins at all!! I was so sold I actually went out and bought one today,, my mom agreed to it and my hair is like BUTTA LOLOL,, i''ll be trying my CHI out later,,, very excited about this,, cuz i though my Solano was good.....

Chi ceramic irons are great farouk company makes the Chi line, but they also have the brillance line for over curly hair ethic hair, the irons get hotter than the Chi,  I use the Chi right now but will also purchase the Brillance flat iron by farouk for my client hair that is thicker and can withstand more heat for straighting. I am glad the Chi work for youThumbs Up

You can check out this website: http://www.misikko.com/. They have all types of flat irons but you can buy the CHI there too.

I saw the website for the Deep Brilliance flat iron by Farouk.  How can I get one, how much is it?

6/26/06 Purchased a Chi today for $149.99 at BB&B.  I took back my maxiglide and paid the difference for the Chi.  I probably won't be using it for another week to two weeks, but I'll post pictures as usual.
