Help! I'm female and have short hair - about 2/3 inches. I've tried loads of different products, but my hair just ends up looking really dull and dry by the end of the day. Any ideas?

Florence,
I have short hair myself and like to toy with different styling products.
One thing I noticed is that - even if you wash your hair regularly - there are still some remains of styling products and you might want to invest into a detox-shampoo to strip off the left-overs which make the hair look dull. Use as directed, when overused it will strip the natural oils as well...

Don't skip conditioning - short hair doesn't easily have split ends, but it still needs the moisture. Especially when you blow dry your hair.

Have you coloured your hair? Reds fade quickly and leave the hair look dull, too. Been there...

Depending on oyur hair wax might be a good styling product. It's not really the preferred one for fine hair, but it leaves at least my coarse hair shiny. A serum might help as well.

Hope this helps,

Leanan

Use products to add shine, They work well. And like the other suggestion - use a deep leansing shampoo about once a week to prevent buildup of products. Thats also a good time to use a deep conditioner as well.
