I have med.warm brown hair and I want it to be lightest brown. I used a dark ash blonde (ultress) and was surprised at the results, there wasn't much difference. Question is, when i do a touch-up in 6 weeks, will it be lighter?

hi sebastian:

If you use the same color you used the first time your new growth area will be the same color as you have now if you do not overlap onto the already colored hair. If you do overlap the color you will create a striped effect which would look lighter at the scalp and because you have overlapped onto the already colored hair that hair will appear darker.

touch ups is only for roots..
go to med. ash blonde and apply the dye to the ends of your hair first and the darker new growth area last.
