Is silicone bad for hair?

My mom washed my hair and tried to detangel it yesterday..in these steps

1.shampoo-Pantene

2.I think it was inleave conditioner

3.then try to to detangel it --

4.then added Silicon Mix and then tried again..

5. then washed it all out and then with my hair wet tried to brush it ..

 

now its feels like straw/dry/and frizzy..and I have alot of loose hairs that keep falling out now..I washed my hair and tried to put con. in it but its not helping..btw I have wavy hair on with curly tips
