Hi, I'm a guy and I was wondering if anyone could show me how I can get these type of hair:




I was wondering how I would tell the barber.  I've always faded my back and side so I tell them something like a #1 fade.  I'm not familiar with any other hair cut terms.  So for the back do I tell them to trim it to a specific lenght?  On the 3rd picture, is there anything special about his top like layers or is it just regular even out hair thats a couple inches long? Also I have straight hair and it would lay flat down and not poping up/have volume like this guy in the top 2 pictures, what type of products would I need? I was thinking wax but not sure. Please help!! Thanks

You need to go to a stylist for that type of cut. Print out a picture and bring it with you. And yes you will need some wax pomade for that piecie look.
