ok basicly before i did all this my hair was dyed red and i used to top the colour up with a veggie dye...i decided i wanted a change (light brown, with blonde highlights) so i went to sally's and picked up some colour stripper, that went fine, as far as i could tell there was only a little red left...i dyed it brown all over and proceeded to add the highlights with two lots of the bleaching. the first highlights were very fine and done with a cap and i noticed the red had shown up so i proceeded to bleach again with chunkier highlights (which was what i wanted) and now the top of my roots and bangs have gone pink ! the blonde has come out fine except for this horrible pink...and all i wanted was normal non-weird coloured hair for once.
i don't think my hair will take another bleaching and all i have left in the house is a tiny bit of jerome russel lighten up shampoo and some of this stuff http://www.sallybeauty.com/shop/1480/240902 but i don't think it's gonna remove the pink.
is there anything i can do ? i have to work tomorrow and i don't think it'll gone down to well.
My Dear, you are in over your head. Vegetable dyes are notoriously difficult to remove let alone the other traditional tint you have used. I am sure you are right and that your hair is in no condition to try to bleach it again. If you want "normal" looking hair, the very best thing you can do is go see a Board Cerified Haircolorist. (PM me for the website, I don't want to violate any policies.) The only thing you can do yourself and not cause additional problems is to get a "semi (NOT DEMI) permanent" light golden brown to put over all the pink pieces. It should darken them enough to dominate the pink. And pray to the haircolor gods! For future reference: it doesn't make sense to put color on hair you know youare going to be bleaching. You just are adding one more layer of damage. Lighten first (this is where foil is helpful), then darken the remaining hair.

it would have been silly to bleach my whole head, not only would it require another 2 boxes of bleach and caused more damage than need to be, the fact the with the exception of the red that hasn't budged when it should have it all went well.
i did as you said and theres still pink..i work below minimum wage and dying my hair at home which up until now has been problem free is all i can afford. a salon would just chop it all off and dye it a horrible brown. it'd be a waste of money when all i want to do is get rid of the red and keep the rest as it is right now.
i dyed the pink bits brown and now most of my hair is a horrible. slight grey ash blonde/brown colour with a fair amount of pink showing through. i;m at the point of shaving it all off. at least with the pink and yellow blonde it looked fun. now it looks horrendous.
