I'm not at all sure how to get eva's hairstyle but your hair won't stay short forever if you take proper care of it.  What type of protein treatment did you use?  And are you sure its not moisture you need and not protein?  Are you sure your hair is shedding (white bulb on hair) which is healthy  or breakage (no white bulb) which is unhealthy?

I'm not sure, what the name of the protein was, i went to studio 10 to get it done...I when to a salon, and the lady said, thats what i needed...i use everything from doo grow too dudley's prodcuts...i usually wash my hair when danderuff starts to re-appear, its kind of weird that my hair starts off thick, and then at the ends, they are thin. I'm sure my hair is shedding, even if i was to shake it, pieces would be falling out.

 *Question* what does ITA mean???

(Thanks for the replys!!!)

ITA= I too agree

I think you need to get a good moisturizing shampoo and conditoner and also a deep condtioner( i use ors replenishing pak) and a good moisturizer (i highly reccomend s-curl) and some oil to seal it in (i use africa's best herbal oil)

To thicken your ends up maybe you can use castor oil

Also have you tried cowashing?

cowashing is washing your hair with conditioner instead of shampoo....its done for is moisturizing benefits since shampoos tend to be harsh and/or drying.  they're usually done with cheap conditioners like vo5 and suave.

s-curl is great for relaxed or natural hair so yea you can go ahead and use it.

I met Eva when she came to Cincinnati last month Her stylist was with her. Someone asked what she used and he said he used Motions Products.
"God makes no mistakes" he created you the way you are suppose to be.

Too much protein can actually damage hair. Also look at your eating and exercising habits. A healthy you = healthy hair. change your s&c and if that still doesn't help go see your doctor. HTH

Polysorbate 80 and castor oil is wonderful for thickening hair.  Garlic shampoo and conditioner is excellent for shedding, a good brand is Nutrine.  The Baggie method is wonderful for thickening ends.  Maybe you can do a search for the baggie method here.  If it is not, then I will post it for you.  I have thick, full ends, and my ends were jacked up.  I saw results within a month.

Hi beautyqueen and welcome to the board.  I agree with everything the ladies have said.  It is important to have the proper balance of protein and moisture so when you do a protein treatment make sure to use a moisturizing conditioner afterwards.  Try to deep condition often using a conditioner that is made for deep conditioning, sit under the dryer w/ a plastic cap for 20 minutes or cover your hair in a hot towel to help the conditioner penetrate.  Make sure you are moisturizing daily w/ a water based moisturizer w/ no mineral oil or petrolatum in it and seal the moisture in w/ a light oil such as olive oil or wild growth oil.  Also, watch your heat use, this is so important because heat is very damaging, whenever you do use it make sure to use a good heat protectant.  I see the most growth when I reduce the heat.  HTH

Just got my polysorbate 80 today, when I saw the UPS truck pull up at my house I ran out and met the driver in the driveway, grabbed the box and commenced to prepooing.  I just applied it to my dry scalp (is that the way it's supposed to be applied? Can it be use in other ways) How are you using your castor oil?  I mix mine with my MTG.

Well I have braids right now, but when i use the castor oil, i usually put it ion the roots, and i really dont' have a regimen.  I just go to a beautician and she washes it and trims it *when needed* and thats it.
