if he's a barber then he knows what a #3 ATG or #2 WTG, if not ask for the 1/4 or 1/8 guard setting

The answer to all your problems is learn how to cut your own hair its easy, convienent, and your savin money. It's like Burger King, have it your way.You can't mess up esp. ATG with the guard, what more do ya need? Leave your hair the size you want when you want!

First, tell him make it even all the way around but long
enough to show the waves.

Second, tell him to get his clippers bronzed and retire if
he honestly doesn't know what a ceasar is.

Finally, cutting your own hair is not easy ... at least if you
want a crisp line.  I've seen many a people thinking they
are crisp walking around with a crooked a$$ line.  Here's
a tip ... learn to cut your hair to the length you desire and
then splurge and throw the barber $5 to line you up.

G'night.

The only thing about that is, some Barbers can't even cut a straight line. I've been in search of the Barber with the perfect line. I've only ran across 1 Jamacian Barber who would use the straight razor to hook your line up. It was the as straight as could be, but the shop closed and he is no where to be found.
