I have noticed many topics where people are either trying to grow out their hair or have growed out their hair.  Is there anyone who likes short to very short hair?

I have no problem with short hair on other people, but for me id prefer it it long. It's all about personal preferance.

well i see what u mean. but yeah most ppl on here do want longer hair. i think its becuase u can do alot more with long hair that very short hair. it IS all about preference and 2 me, what is in. long hair is very in right now for women of all races.

short hair is not for me..its not very flattering at least in my opinion but shorts do's on people like halle keep me in awe.....i think women on  here want long hair because many of us have believed we can't grow out hair because we are african american.

Shorter hair on me would look so silly, my head is so big!!!  I do like it though, just on other people.

i agree stillinlove! african american women do wanna see if they can grow their hair out since it is so widely believed (and sadly excepted) that we cant. i guess its more like a challenge really, or at least in my opinion

msrbulman - i like short hair, i found it easy and manageable. i like the fact that i could wash and wear much easier and it didnt take long to deal with it. the only thing is you are locked into that one look until it grows out. and if you like alot of changes short hair not for 'you'.
i have had my head 1 inch and shaved at the back. but again if it don't look right you will look foolish. short hair is not for everyone.
it takes a certain frame of mind to wear short hair. people will make comments that may make some of us angry. i used to get your type of hair doesn't grow eh? then when i did grow it out the same person will ask if i am wearing a wig.
my feeling is you do what you want, but now i am growing mine out, but natural this time.  i think i like challenges..

I like short hair. I wear short wigs because I don't want to cut my real hair. I think it is nice -sometimes-.
