as a stylist- the first thing that should of been explained to you was what you should expect and what you shouldnt- seeing that your hair is short and fine, you should of been taught that to put your hair up- probably wasnt an option- unless there was a edge of your own hair all around the hair line left down to cover any links.
did she install any links into your hair before the install to let you feel them?
what dont you like about the feeling of them, are they tight, lumpy, bulky?
shedding, hmmmm you shouldnt be shedding in lumps at all- loosing some really is natural.
Have you contacted her to help you-
also what shampoo and cond are u using at home, what is your hair care reguime?(spell?)
sometimes brushing hair that looks seperated does help.
the first thing i would reccommend is that you talk to your stylist, see what she thinks and how she is going to make you happy- clients MUST be happy.

I think if you want more fullness then go with protac or liquid gold.
LG is more of a mess and has a stronger hold than protac. I've only
tried LG and it was fine but it's a bit of a mess.
Were they silicone lined microlinks? Or regular?
Have you tried fusion? That might hold stronger.
About the shedding: that does sound bad. If you had your hair installed by an extensionist you need to let her know about your problems! Maybe she bought pre tipped hair and it was poorly done by whomever she bought them from... in that case she'll have to tell the manufacturer.
If you cared for them properly these things should not have happened and you should be helped by your hair stylist. Boy that would pee me off
I learn to love and try to understand everyone I meet. I see the rainbow hiding in their eyes.
I recently had 200 microlinks installed into my hair... to cut a far too long story short, they looked good for the first couple of days but now they have gone all stringy and corse.
Anyways, I don't like the feeling of the microlinks on my head. Also, my hair is really thin, so i cant bring the hair up too far on my head because then the links show through the really short layers in my hair.
I'm wondering if protac would be a good alternative for me?
I want to just put the whole weft into my hair?
Will protac work for me??
What about liquid gold?
Any replies would be greatly appreciated.
ps. this is my install when i first got it done.
my natural hair is very short... maybe 5-10cm (2-4 inches) all around.
