i recently got sew in extensions and wanted to know some tips for caring for it. i know i have to brush, comb, and wrap in a silk scarf before i go to bed so it doesn't get tangled. however, can i wash the hair? and if possible, how do i go about that? is there a specific way to wash the hair or do it how i normally would? plz help!

I hope you picked Remy Cuticle hair for your install, that's the most important thing, the quality of the hair you chose.
If it's not it might get dry and tangled very fast, if it is good hair, then just wash your hair w/ moisturizing shampoo, and if it's sew in, then you can use conditioner no problem, only not on the sewing.
When you wash your hair, make sure to keep them straight, don't "roll" them - I don't know if it makes sense in english! -, don't wash them as fast you would wash your own hair, bec. they could get tangled.
I like the conditioner sleek and shine of Pantene, and also the conditioner from Goldwell "kerasilk" or something like that, and also the conditioners "time renewal" from Pantene, really good for me and not too$$.
Sherrie recommends non sulfate shampoos, bec. sulfate is really tough on your hair and is in 99% of shampoos, and a shower filter. I haven't tried any of that so I can't tell for the difference.
And...I think that's it!
I am sure you'll get a lot of other good tips from other girls though!!
