hey everyone,
I'm 18 years old and am completely new to this whole hair extension thing. My hair is shoulder length but plain and dull and doesnt really grow because of hot iron use. I would LOVE to have hair extensions put in but I am terrified that I will have hair loss afterwards. Ive been reading online about different methods and such but I would like to hear some personal stories. Could anyone please offer some insight and also how much a procedure would cost me.

This site is what introduced me to hair extensions as well, I am SO thankful I found it!
I do my hair extensions myself, I am not sure if you are looking to have them professionally done or if you want to do them yourself. If you have them professionally done, you are going to pay a hefty bit MORE then what you would pay DIY.
My natural hair sounds very similar to yours. It is very fine and thin and damaged from hot irons and bleaching it blonde.
Hair extensions can actually help in the growth of natural hair.
