Getting Started - Swapping, Sharing & Rel

At the request of our long term members HairBoutique.com has decided to experiment with a Swap Board. As a result, this will be a work in progress and as such, suggestions for improved operations are always welcome and encouraged.

Please note that all HairTalk members participating in The HairTalk Swap Board must proceed at their own risk.

Some suggestions for getting started:

1. Read Rules Of Participation In Swapping
2. Post A New Message Thread In The Swap Forum with a descriptive title of what you wish to Swap for or have to swap. An example might be:

Wishing To Trade Brand X Shampoo For Brand Y Shampoo Or Similar

3. In your message provide as much detail about the product you wish to swap including:

1. How long you have had the product.
2. Why you wish to swap (it's for dry hair and yours is oily).
3. What you would like to try instead or wish to swap for (Brand Y Shampoo or Brand Z Shampoo or etc.).
4. Whether the product has been opened, used, amount remaining.
5. Who pays shipping.
6. What type of shipping you prefer (US Postal, UPS, etc.,).
7. Contact Information (Bmail, email).
8. If you have a time frame
9. Any other helpful information.

Please post that the Swap is no longer valid once your Swap conditions have been met.
