long hair salon in Houston, TX?

I am 19 and have had waist-length hair for practically my entire life. I love it, but until recently I never did anything special to take care of it. It survived quite nicely, but due to spending last summer working as a camp counselor it has ended up with split ends throughout the bottom half of my hair - however, my usual hairdresser commented that is was very healthy. I read on various sites how to do a split end trim, but i can`t seem to get the hang of it. Therefore, I`ve been trying to locate a long hair salon near so i can have it done professionally - however the closest one i can find in is Plano, which is a 6hr drive from where i live, which is a bit far to go for a trim. I am hoping that someone here knows of a long hair salon in the Houston area. Thank you for any help you can offer.
