Hi,
I've been having weft extensions for almost a year now and I love them but I was thinking of trying something new at the front and it usually means i find it hard to tie up.

Usually I have my hair extensions woven at the back by my cousins mum who specialises in african hair and extensions. I then glue the side parts in myself using liquid gold glue.

Here's my hair beforehand:

As you can see it's fairly damaged from overdying it. (I had black hair once and had to get it recoloured brunette professionally-it was a big mistake to dye it black in the first instance!) MY hair at the top, however, is in very good quality which is the only part that shows when the extensions are in.

Here's me with the extensions done as I described

I was just wondering how damaging fusion actually is to the hair and if you would recommend me using it? I'm actually learning extensions myself but I've only ever done woven and glued wefts.

As I would only want to place the fusion hair right at the front there would be fairly minimal damage to my hair overall but as I've never done it or seen it done (besides raccoon extensions) I'm not sure whether to try it or not...

If I decided to go for it I'd probably do it myself and buy something like this to do it with and make my own tipped hair with the hair from my weft stock:

What do you think?

Thanks

I think if your sections are clean and you don't keep them in for longer than three months you should be fine. Also, since it's in the front you'll be able to keep your eye on it and make sure they're not matting up.
