Abba Creme Masque & Ion Hair Repair

I posted this in a different topic, but I'm not sure if that was the right one for this.

 

I was given a tube of the Abba Creme Masque tonight by someone who recommended it for dry and damaged hair (it came from a salon).  I'm still having a problem with breakage and my hair has always been dry.  Is this something that might work to help?  I also have a triangular box made by Ion (came from Sally Beauty) that says it's an emergency kit for hair repair and includes three bottles inside, one of a volumizer to strengthen the hair, one that prevents breakage and a detangler/hydrator.  Does anyone know anything about this product? 

 

I don't dare use anything on my hair right now that might dry it out or damage the hair more, so anything anyone could tell me about either of these products would be appreciated.  I didn't find any references to them searching the forums, and web searches just come up with them for sale on other sites.
