Yo..I hope its not a dumb question but does the du rag play into how the waves form? Cuz I had a good du rag once and it got so many runs in it that I had to get rid of it...I felt that it had my waves to look good.....I got another one now and I dont like the way it makes my hair lay down..Do you think I should replace it?

yes and no

if your durag is tight then waves will form better and be kept under raps better since there is no room to move
 
and no cus one type of durag does not give you better waves
