i have 100% asian hair. thick and straight and ive noticed if i rub my hair constantly for a while it starts to stick and i could actually do a hairstyle without using 20 lbs of gel, but is this bad for the hair?

what it could be is if youve eva used wax or gel it takes quite a while for wax to fully wash out your hair so there cud be bits left ova or it could be that ur hairs greasy whitch can be caused by eating to much fatty foods

its probably either static electricity or just you produced a lot of oil from your scalp.
 
its really bad to do it, cos you will expose your hair cuticles even more and leaving it dry.
