is this 1/4 inch tape the SAME as the protac??? I was under the impression that it wasnt the same.

Redliner tape only gives a temporary hold, while protac is much stronger.  I use the 1/4" protac tape with skin wefts and it works very well.
 
I order mine fron New Concepts, but I think that the general public can order it through www.hairpiece.com.

The tape they sell says for temporary hold 2-5 days. If you only want temporary hold then it will work for that. If you want longer hold it says you need to add additional adhesive.

The reason I suggest protac is becuase its the longest lasting extended wear tape that I know of, and doesnt need any additional adhesive.

 curious..is that because you think pro-tac stays better or their tape is just harder to get? The video just makes their tape seem so easy to apply.

Id say to stick with protac, either strips or rolls.

Has anyone had success finding the red and white pro tape that tressallure x uses? Their demonstration makes it seem so simple to use and the width of the tape looks about 1/4 inch...
