hair growth

im a white guy with thick curly(originally) hair.i have always had long hair and wanted dreadlocks for a very long time. originally i began by backcombing and using wax but i realized it gave it a very unnatural look, so i shaved my haed and started from scratch. it is now 9months later and my hair is pretty much fully naturally dreaded with about 30-40 small dreadlocks.  ive done it all natural up to here but am starting to get impatient with my hair growth. i was reading about a hair growth supplement on this site called "hairtopia". has anyone used this product? or if i do use it will my hair still stay dry and frizzy enough to keep locking up\? thanks for any help.
