I just recently dyed my hair brown, after bleaching it(a month later), and I lost track of time and it turned out to be a VERY dark brown, almost black. I was wondering if I could bleach over a day old dye, or if any of you can recommend a way to get perm. dye out. Thanks in advance.

why don`t you just add highlights to lighten your hair, (lighter brown/red/blond which ever colour you prefer)??

You hair will lighten anyways if there is bleach under it (at least my bangs (that were bleached in chunks) turned lighter)
Dye doesn`t stick all that go to bleach, trust me IT WILL FADE in a few days to a week
Inches don`t matter

Just leave it, your hair will lighten in about a week. Plus dark hair is cool.
