Hi everyone.

I was wondering if someone could help me. Last summer I had chunky highlights put in the front of my hair. (Actually, they were put throughout, but only took in the front.) This was the first time I had EVER coloured my hair - and I was 31 at the time!

Anyway, with the summer sun, the highlights became even lighter, which looked fine then, but not so fine now that I have 1.5 inch roots! My hair is light brown and I`m wondering can anything be done to bring the two shades closer together.

Thanks So Much

What I would do is get deposit-only hair color (like Robert Craig Effect of Nature www.robertcraig.com) in a shade in between the two shades, and apply it to all your hair. It should darken the highlights and not effect the rest of your hair very much.

Thanks so much for your suggestion!

On the weekend I tried a Clairol temporary colorant in my natural hair colour to see if it would work. It did, but it`s only temporary.

I just took a look through that website and am pretty excited by what I saw.

Thanks again!

Glad you had good luck with Chunking,I did it my self and it turned my hair orange, lol. But I went and got my hair professonally High Lighted and it turned out perfect,Your best bet would be to ask a professonal stylist,Did you do the Chunking your self?
