I have really put my all into my hair this year... and my hair is more longer(sl)than it's ever been in YEARS. My hair strands even look more heathier with my length when it is straight.  Now  it shedsCry.  Will this affect my lenght.  I ordered some garlic shampoo. My regimen is :
Aphogee sham
Aphogee balance mos con
Cholesteral (lekar or lustersilk)
Aphogee reconstructor
Cantu leave in

Other products I have use this year
Motions CPR sham + con
NTM
Surge 14
Optium sham+con
ORS mayo

No it will not affect the length just the thickness..Nutrine garlic poo is great for shedding just make sure to follow it with a moisturizing shampoo. Sounds like your doing a good job with your hair don't worry too much about the shedding I have had increased shedding also but its probably cuz of the weather

Me Too! Since I started my hair care regimen my hair has grown longer and is much healthier but it does seem to shed more and also the pieces that break off the ends are longer. I just thought maybe the longer your hair gets, the more hair you'll see fall out.

Now looking at it in writing this sounds silly. Is this the case?

Don't forget ladies -- that shedding doesn't always mean you need protein.  Make sure that you are balancing out the protein in the treatments with adding some moisture with deep conditioning.  Cause dryness can also cause shedding, breakage issues.

The amount of shedding can also be caused by the seasons, humans are mammals...this mean we shed seasonally just like an other mammal.

Also, if you wear hair styles for periods of time ( for instance 5 days at a time) without manipulating or combing your hair, the shedded hair will appear to have increased because you did not remove 100 or more hairs for about 5 days.

I'm sure there is nothing to worry about.
