If waves became too popular would u keep them? Suppose (for example)Wavology really gets popular and waves became next years hot styl 4 young black/latino men. Ppl all ova will be texturizing there hair and u walk in to skool or work one day and EVERYBODY has waves. If that happened, even considering all the work i put in i would get a new hairstyle. Honestly the best part of having waves is the exclusivity. Many girls havent seen waves before or very rarely and they find them intriguing. If everybody had waves they would become commonplace. But anyways..WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

Keep it cause we'd be the O.W.(Original Wavers) and chances are this will and is already starting to happen. Besides it takes a while for people to perfect them and I've gotten a 6 month head start.
 
Besides its better than nappy hair. Lets see a girl get intrigued by that.

yea, itll take a long time to get to get them perfected, even though i didnt help out with waveology, ive been wavin since august and i havent even got my right side fully up

yo every1 at ma skool already has waves...it pisses me off 2 cuz it waz me n ma main man dat started it all...we waz da first ni66az wit waves n we got all da g'z...now we walk down da hallz n we see all da young bucks rockin da waes..buh we cool tho..we juss look at dem n say yo u remmeber we started dat ish here.

I would probably keep em or rock the curls..If you have to change up yo hair style to get gurls... then they just like u fo your hair.. feel me? Plus even if everyone start wavin.. We gotta advantages because we been in the game longer and know wut we doin...  plus they ish aint finna be perfect

It dont matter how popular they get, they still hard to get, and to me its not only a hairstyle, its like jewelry. They about status, and respect. To me waves = mad clean and mad respect

Bling. Thats what waves are. Think about it. Celebreties struggle with natural waves and we rock them. I couldn't even imagin Three-six-Oh or jqrs without them. After a while the become part of your personality. Girls think they look good and they are better than braids (in my opinion) because they are formal and not just anyone can get them. They take time and dedication and thats why I try to treat everyone on this board trying and that do have waves with respect because its not easy. I pretty much elaborated on ChristianTN8IS post.
