With microlinks, it shouldn't be gooey. But I would say, after a month or so, once the rings start falling out, I just collect them, and wait to use the tips again for a future install. If you put them back in at this point, some will be new and others will be a month old. and it will just get weird and confusing, then after a few more months, some will start matting really bad, but sometimes you wont notice it because of all the new ones.
It's confusing, so sorry, and I'm tired! But I've always did this, and had some problems. So this is why I say this. Only from personal experience.

about over a month ago i got micro links. they still look pretty fabulous.
but, i have noticed that whatever holds the extension hair to itself is kinda gooey as time has past. a few of them have fallen out and a friend of mine has the tools to get them back in so we tried, but it wasnt skinny enough to get through the tube because the putty or whatever it is, is just not holding up....
hope that made some sense.
my question is....
is there some kind of glue or something to mold the hairs back together into a lock.. i know people can make these out of wefts... so im wondering how this is done...
thank you in advance. and i apologize for any unneccessary rambling i did.
