My natural hair colour is red and I have recently dyed it dark brown and I hate the colour, how do I get back to my natural colour? Should I strip the colour or dye over the top, please help!Cry

Hi
My advice to you would be to use colorfix to remove the colour and then use a colour closer to what you really want. I wouldn't dye over it as the colour will be unpredictable and may go even darker. There are loads of pretty red colours out there to choose from. Good luck

I think it will wash out alot if you give it about a week or two. Use a strong shampoo like head and shoulders or something meant for blonde hair (I have ALWAYS found if I went too dark that the John Frieda Blonde shampoos lighten hair alot because they contain lemon juice and are meant to bring out highlights)
If that doesnt work, then yes, colorfix would be the way to go.
