Wazzam hb peeps...I'm new 2 dis whole wave thang and I jus got ma bush cut off after I had braids. a week or 2 before I got ma haircut, I started 2 put dat dax (red can) up in ma hair & brushin frequently..& then I went & snatched up dat Scurl activator gel stuff and started puttin dat in ma hair, and I'm gettin waves a lil bit on da top & back, but da sides won't come in...it seems like when i get a cut, ma sides are too low...I dunno, help me out a lil bit ya dig...O yea, i usually get a taper, maybe that is tha reason my sides r 2 low..holla @ me ~1~

Need a clearer pic but I see the waves. They're mildly crooked so use a soft brush if you haven't started. STOP GETTING TAPERS. Switch to dark ceasars thet'll help. Pretty good for a beginner.

HEy your getting off to a good start but you really wont need to add pomade until your hair is kinda thick, it just helps lay your hair down.

nah you can get taper cuts when ever... your gonna learn that different parts of your head wave faster then others... and everyone is different.. for me my sides came before my top... juss keep growing your hair out for long periods and set that pattern in deep... after the first couple wolf sessions you should see some solid results

gj but MOISTURIZE DAT not sayin ur hair is dry but i think thats all u need rite now..and keep up the brushing. I remember when ppl used to come to this site with absolutely no waves now every noob has sum tight waves. I guess this site is being read by more ppl than we think.

yep. me too. I read Waveology and about 120 Topics (literally lol) and was looking at this site a couple months b4 i posted anything. But back to the subject...don't use pomade yet, just moisterizers, and start wolfing.
