help orange hair

You didn't leave the bleach on long enough. You need to bleach your hair further until it reaches the color of the inside of a banana. (pale yellow) Then you can tone to reach your desired color. High lift blondes are not recommended for use on bleached hair. www.goblonde.com has a lot of useful info on going blonde particularly their message board and especially the alternative board. I bleached my dark brown hair with the purple kalidacolors from sally's and right now it's and orangeish color.  To get to Jessica Simpsons hair color do I need to bleach it again or could I use a high lift blonde?  Thanks for the help.
