I need some help ( Pics)

Ok, I'm 4 weeks into a haircut and over two weeks into serious training. The problem is I'm still on break from college until monday but I go back on saturday. If i dont get a cut b4 I leave, i'm not sure when I'll get to the barbershop there, and  i don't like what i see from the kids who cut hair at my dorm. I usually get like a 1 and 1/2 when i get a cut, but i was gonna get a two this time since im still training. Do yall think I should get a cut in a couple days or wait til i get back, btw my b-day is next tuesday and I kinda wanted to be fresh for then and that weekend, but i dont know how much if at all a cut will hurt my progress. Here are some pics to help better judge.

Good lookin Butch, since u were the only one to respond. i went and talked 2 my barber and he told me he could solve both my problems, so he gave me a cut that both kept my waves and will keep me lookin fresh for my b-day while not having to worry about gettin a cut up there any time soon. Plus now I can fine tune my pattern since I didn't didn't start trainin with a fresh cut.
