Hello Everyone,

I would like to start wearing roller sets for a while.  My hair is slightly course and I am trying to thicken it back up. Can anyone suggest any leave in's, mousse or something that I can take with me to the salon to use on my hair to make the hair soft and the curls loose and bouncy.  I don't want my hair to tangle up after 3 days of having a roller set.  Help please.

Thanks,

BBD Big%20smile

Visit Macherieamour's blog, healthytextures.com, she is one of the best rollersetting resources.

Godsflowerr has a fotki, and I think she posts her regimen/products.  She, too, is a great resource for rollersetting.

I recently started rollersetting.  I initially started with Lottabody Setting Lotion (dilute with water).  For me, the Lottabody made my hair dry and crunchy.

Then I tried Infusium 23, which turned out much better, but it still has the potential to make hair crunchy, if you use too much.

I recently used Motions CPR Triple Moisture Leave-In.  At first I mixed it with the Infusium 23.  But using a little Motions by itself, has given me the best result...  For me, just a little bit is best and then I use plain water in a spritz bottle to keep the hair wet and I go.

In the later weeks of my perm, I add a little bit of anti-frizz serum, such as John Frieda or Fantasia.

Some other women use foams...so be sure to check out those other more experienced resources I mentioned previously.  Let us know how it goes.

Good luck.
