For those who wear their hair up most of the time, 1) do you wear it in the same style mostly? 2) If you do, do you "twist" your hair in the same direction every time?
Thanks, The reason I'm asking, is that I've been reading that "twisting" your hair in the same direction all the time can be damaging. BUT, I think (logically) if you twist your hair one way, then the other way, alternating each day, you would do a lot more damage. Think of a slender twig, you will break it faster if you twist it clockwise then counterclockwise over and over again. It is much stronger if you only twist one way.
Also, even if you twist only one way, your hair grows, so you will be twisting a slightly new place every day. (right???)
I think the real answer is to twist one way one, but gently.
I am wearing my hair up all the time now (mostly), to protect it, and would really appreciate some feedback. Thanks, Teechia
