I dont go against the grain at all. I put the shampoo in and brush in the direction of my waves with a hard brush. I use a hard brush because its like scratching my scalp to get whatever pruducts are in my hair out. Especially if you have a pomade in your hair...This technique will leave no buildup in your hair.

I dont go against the grain when im washing my hair .. but going against the grain should do nothing else than just require you to brush 5 extra min..if it affects you that much.. you waves and really that gully and im trying to get those ya dig

yea i wash it atg,wtg,ztg,btg,stg,ytg,mtg all the angles possible............then later on in the shower i just brush
hahahah i died when i saw this sh*t lol but me i never break my pattern for sh*t i use myy finger nails and drag em threw my head as if im brushin then i brush my hair out...then i rub my palms along my head like im brushinn ...all the time with the grain...but i know it aint important cuz my waves are trained and theyl just go back**i know this cuz sumtimes i comb atg den brush back*

I wash every other day and I wash in every which way. It' doesn't matter how you brush your hair the wave pattern will stay in, unless it's weak. I found this out before I cared about my waves. Back then I noticed that going in all directions didn't really matter. Don't be afraid just wash your hair.
Besides all you gonna do is brush the h311 out of your hair anyway.
