on the bottle it says to apply to damp hair for 20 min do not rinse, blow excess from hair. apply color as usual
what does this mean  ? what is blow excess from hair and do you apply the new color to damp hair or dried hair. need help  need to do this this morning.

I think it means BLOT excess from hair so it is not dripping. You do not blowdry it though,it will become very hard and brittle if you do that.
