Hello,
I live in Korea ( I am not Korean), and recently I got my hair highlighted. (Friday). I wanted light blond highlights, so this is what I asked for. Fast forward... when I an sitting in the chair and the stylist is blowdrying my hair, my hair is breaking off. Compared to some stories I guess I should feel lucky. I have a little shorter than shoulder length hair and it is broken at various points on the shaft. I still have the integrity of the hairstyle, but it is so broken.
I wantd to grow my hair out. So should I leave it at this length or cut it short now? I know if I leave it like this it could get more damaged. Any suggestions would be welcome. Pleae help me out.
I don`t think you have to cut your hair short. Just be careful to condition it everytime you wash and use a deep conditioner once a week. And if possible, let it dry naturally and don`t blow dry it. And when you get the highlights touched up make sure the stylist only puts the bleach on the roots and not on the already highlighted hair. If you cut your hair short, you`ll probably regret it since it will take a long time to grow out.
