dis sound kinda weird but my barber cut in my waves n a lotta ppl always b lyke y aint yo waves curly...is dere anyway i can get my waves to look more natural???

What do you mean by he "cut in your waves?"  but idk about the curly part. Your waves do look different tho (straight flat lines). Most people's waves are in a "S" formation but ur hair is straight with waves. Just brush alot and wolf for a long time (8+ weeks to get to be deep)

I wouldn't recommend gel, especially since you got short hair.
